Hey guys! I'm starting school again on Monday *cry* which means my posts are gonna be even more sporadic. I apologize in advance although I will definitely will try my very best to post at least once a week. In addition to that, my Polish Haul Saturday's will probably become once a month since I most probably will not be able to buy as much polish as before.
Anyway, in case you haven't noticed, I've changed the way I watermark my photos. I've started using this thing called GIMP and I'm not sure if my photos are really better edited or if they suck haha. I would appreciate feedback on my photo cropping (like maybe I crop too much or something) or anything about the way I watermark my photos (eg. maybe you would prefer if I kept the watermark in a specific corner instead of tossing it into whichever part of the photo I see fit).
Okay, on to my new polish! I've been splurging a lot the past few weeks on more expensive nail polish yikes. But the colours are too pretty to resist!
First up,
Butter London All Hail The Queen - This is a really pretty brown; I guess I could call it nude on my tan skin? And it's really pretty because it has this shimmer which cannot be seen here but I've done swatches on this and those will be up sometime in the next 2 weeks.
Butter London Marbs - I think I've found the perfect gold polish!!!!
Butter London Stardust - Damn my horrible phone camera. There is like holo blue, green and red glitter in this silver-looking polish. The base actually isn't silver though, it's transparent. I think I used this over my Christmas French mani in one of the posts below.
Face It Wide Nails BK901 - I'm a sucker for marble black looking shades. They look super classy. Swatches of this will also be up soon.
Face It Wide Nails OR201 - Orange isn't really my kind of colour but... my friend was sporting it and it looked really good and once I saw the polish in person, I knew I had to get it. It has a yellow/gold shimmer!!
Orly Pink Waterfall - The polish name is adorable. But no, I didn't get it because of that. I think the week I bought this, I was having a pink/purple mood as you will see with the two polishes below as well.
Nails Inc. Devonshire Row - A gorgeous medium purple.
Nails Inc. Lowndes Square - This is known as a pink lavender. I initially thought it was just lavender but turns out lavender is brighter in colour!
Anyway, that's all I have for you today. This isn't all the nail haul I have. I've been buying a lot of nail buffers, filers, nail polish remover that come in a bottle for you to stick your fingers in and nail stickers but.. silly me didn't think to take photos of those :/ Oh well. But I'm willing to do a separate post for those if you want to see them :)
Thanks for reading! Remember to feedback in the comments about anything you have in mind :)

Polish Haul Saturday #14
Polish Haul time!!!!! I love sharing my new polish of the week :) I hope you guys enjoy reading about them too. I think I buy way more polish than I can use though in a week though. Like nowadays, I only paint my fingernails once or twice a week! They're currently bare while I pick a colour for next week! Today, I have two Face Shop polishes to share! :)
They are Face Shop Face It Wide Nails GR503 and Face Shop Face It BL601
A close-up of the glitter. It's sort of a mix of blue, purple and green bar glitter in a transparent polish. IT'S SO PRETTY!!
I'm obsessed with glitter but I'm always too lazy to wear them because the removal process is tedious. I'm a fan of the glue base coat method but I don't like how it chips/peels off really fast! Like before I'm ready to remove it. So I rarely use that.
Anyway, thanks for reading! :)

How about some fishtail braid nail art?
Hello everyone! I'm so happy this week because I re-attempted the fishtail braid nail art and this time it was successful! Well, it looks quite successful to me :) I did it as an accent nail again so that even if it isn't too perfect, as a whole, the mani will still look quite pretty which I think turned out as I hoped.
Let's get right to the photos! I used a Faceshop light pastel blue polish as a base. I can't remember the code so... I'll dig out the bottle and edit this next time.
Yay! Look at the accent nail! I thought that was quite good, considering last week's failed attempt that I just painted over in the end haha. I know it's far from perfect like my lines could be neater and the braids smaller so that it looks more intricate but I hope you guys like my first attempt :) I'm gonna do more accent nails, I really love the way they look!

My weekend mani
I have a simple weekend mani today! I was aiming to do an accent french braid nail but I totally failed at that so I just used my black polish that was supposed to be part of the accent nail to cover the mess I made.
Anyone have any good french braid tutorials to recommend? Feel free to attach links if you know of any good ones! :)

Extra Relaxed 31 Day Challenge - Day 4 - Green
Hello ladies! Trying something new today for my Extra Relaxed 31 Day Challenge along with the theme of green nails. I'm trying accent nails! I've seen my nail bloggers who do accent nails almost daily and I'm always in love with their manis and I've finally gotten round to trying my hand at one of those so yay :) The green polish used is China Glaze Four Leaf Clover. It was a slightly tough colour to photograph.
My first photo was taken in natural light and I think my camera refused to focus so it's a little blurry. This was what I started with.
And when the silver polish dried, I stuck chevron stickers and painted black polish over it. And the final result is below :)
What do you guys think of this? Have you tried accent nails before?

Belated Easter Nails
Right. So Easter just passed and I totally forgot I actually had a rather Easter-ish mani to show you guys. I didn't plan to have one but I just happened to have a pastel mani that suits Easter. It's nothing fancy but I figured I should just post it anyway!
So here are my Easter Polka dots!
My dots aren't all the same size unfortunately! I definitely need more practice with my dotting tool! But I enjoyed wearing this, I thought it was rather cute and appropriate for Easter :)

Extra Relaxed 31 Day Challenge - Day 2 - Orange
Hello all! I'm blogging mid-week! Aren't you all proud of me? ;) Hehe. I know I need to move a bit faster and catch up on my Extra Relaxed 31 Day Challenge. I seem to have this warped idea that if I do one a week, I will catch up. LOL, my brain must be too sleepy. I will try to do two a week so hopefully in two to three weeks time, I can get my posts out on time.
OH and I realised I have new followers! Hi ladies :) Welcome to my blog! Okay, on to my orange nails. For this, I actually got inspired by just staring at my boring pink nails and I was like 'hey! I think orange clouds would make it pop.' So I used Nailside's Cloud Design technique. My base colour is OPI My Very First Knockwurst.
I know my clouds are far from perfect but I do love the end result. It really made my mani pop and maybe it's just me, but I think it brightened up my day too!
What do you think of using bright colours? Do you think they add some fun to your day old manicures? :)

Extra Relaxed 31 Day Challenge - Day 1 - Red
Hello! So guess what? I've decided to take part in this extra relaxed 31 Day Challenge after much consideration, I'm just too lazy oops :P This challenge is extra relaxed because it only requires posting once a week! I'm actually three weeks late so I probably should rush to catch up with the rest lol. But yes, for now let's begin with my red nails. I'm off to a simple start.
I would have just shown plain red nails except I wanted to try my China Glaze Whirled Away. It really is a regret of mine to not have read the reviews before purchasing this. The black and white hex and bar glitter were so tough to pick up and spread on the nail. I was quite disappointed but I guess if you don't look close up, it looks alright because I kinda messed up the base polish while attempting to spread the stubborn glitter.

Glitter Rose
Hello all! Today I have China Glaze Avant Garden collection's Life Is Rosy to show you! I actually wore this over the weekend and removed it by Sunday night because I started working and we're not allowed to paint our nails except for neutral or french manicures :( Sad. Lucky I'm not working the whole week so I still have time to do my nails and show you all more pictures! I'm so excited for Friday (when my break for the week) starts. I have so many nail ideas to try that I'm actually afraid I can't pick one in time!
Okay, on to the pictures!
I actually really love this colour a lot, it's such a pretty pink that I think everybody can pull off. However, what I found a problem was that the polish was very thick. Thick polish together with not very big China Glaze brushes and I was afraid I wouldn't be able to spread out the polish over the whole nail before it started drying and I might not get a smooth surface. Lucky for me, as you can see, I successfully managed to get it smooth and fully covered although I felt each coat was quite thick. Here I used 2 coats. This polish actually dries with a very shiny and glossy finish and I think it could have definitely gone without top coat. The only reason I put top coat was because 2 thick coats would take very long to dry and I'm very impatient and prone to ruining half-wet manicures :/
I recently bought a new glitter polish! From Faceshop Face It collection. This is just called GL112. And I thought it would be a good idea to top my pretty pink nails.
Okay, so I think the glitter was too shiny and it reflected the light from my lamp so that's why there's a slight glare. But I really like this layering combination and will definitely try it again with black polish perhaps!

Welcome to Nails and Colour~
Hello all!
So, I've finally worked up the courage to start my own nail blog after loyally following so many nail blogs for slightly more than a year. I've always liked the idea of being able to share my nails and love for nail polish with others but the thought of doing something like this was always a bit daunting. Well anyway, here I am! So let's get started.
I'll start with sharing some of my old nail photos.
Revlon Dreamer. A beautiful sky blue creme.
OPI Not So Bora-bora-ing Pink. One of my favourite pinks. It goes on very smoothly.
Here I used OPI Crown Me Already! on the tips of my nails. A very simple look and easy to do.
This is a very light gold polish, a bit greenish under some lightings although you can't see it here. It's Faceshop's Face It GL112. I like how classy and timeless this colour is.
And that's the end of my first post! I hope you enjoyed it because I certainly did! :)
