Hey guys! I'm starting school again on Monday *cry* which means my posts are gonna be even more sporadic. I apologize in advance although I will definitely will try my very best to post at least once a week. In addition to that, my Polish Haul Saturday's will probably become once a month since I most probably will not be able to buy as much polish as before.
Anyway, in case you haven't noticed, I've changed the way I watermark my photos. I've started using this thing called GIMP and I'm not sure if my photos are really better edited or if they suck haha. I would appreciate feedback on my photo cropping (like maybe I crop too much or something) or anything about the way I watermark my photos (eg. maybe you would prefer if I kept the watermark in a specific corner instead of tossing it into whichever part of the photo I see fit).
Okay, on to my new polish! I've been splurging a lot the past few weeks on more expensive nail polish yikes. But the colours are too pretty to resist!
First up,
Butter London All Hail The Queen - This is a really pretty brown; I guess I could call it nude on my tan skin? And it's really pretty because it has this shimmer which cannot be seen here but I've done swatches on this and those will be up sometime in the next 2 weeks.
Butter London Marbs - I think I've found the perfect gold polish!!!!
Butter London Stardust - Damn my horrible phone camera. There is like holo blue, green and red glitter in this silver-looking polish. The base actually isn't silver though, it's transparent. I think I used this over my Christmas French mani in one of the posts below.
Face It Wide Nails BK901 - I'm a sucker for marble black looking shades. They look super classy. Swatches of this will also be up soon.
Face It Wide Nails OR201 - Orange isn't really my kind of colour but... my friend was sporting it and it looked really good and once I saw the polish in person, I knew I had to get it. It has a yellow/gold shimmer!!
Orly Pink Waterfall - The polish name is adorable. But no, I didn't get it because of that. I think the week I bought this, I was having a pink/purple mood as you will see with the two polishes below as well.
Nails Inc. Devonshire Row - A gorgeous medium purple.
Nails Inc. Lowndes Square - This is known as a pink lavender. I initially thought it was just lavender but turns out lavender is brighter in colour!
Anyway, that's all I have for you today. This isn't all the nail haul I have. I've been buying a lot of nail buffers, filers, nail polish remover that come in a bottle for you to stick your fingers in and nail stickers but.. silly me didn't think to take photos of those :/ Oh well. But I'm willing to do a separate post for those if you want to see them :)
Thanks for reading! Remember to feedback in the comments about anything you have in mind :)

Polish Haul Saturday #16
Hey girls! This is the most rush Polish Haul post I've ever done. I actually only got these like this afternoon and I'm putting them into a post already. I'm just so excited to share them with you all. And I've also been deprived of shopping for nail polish for way too long. One of the downsides to being in university; I really have no time to go to town (there's what we call the major shopping area in Singapore although it's not actually a town) to patronise my usual shopping areas :( But today, I managed to rush down after a group project (YES, school on a Saturday sighhh) because I needed to exchange something from H&M and I decided I would also treat myself to new nail polish because I haven't done that in awhile :) Last week's Polish Haul stuff was actually bought at least a few weeks earlier so I haven't had the time to admire pretty colours in awhile. I think I'm more in love with choosing new polish than actually the whole process of painting my nails haha! But I do love the end product. Pretty, freshly-painted nails can really brighten up my day!
So yeah, today I treated myself with 5 new shades :)
Close-ups are more colour accurate.
Color Club Hot Like Lava. Okay, I was kinda judging the name since lava is red/orange in colour and this is pink. But whatever, the sparkly pink is gorgeous. I hope the sparkle appears on the nail too. I have high hopes for this polish.
Orly Goth. Again, judging the name. Goths don't sparkle.. I'd imagine they be all black? Hahaha. But anyway as you can see, I was in a pretty sparkly mood. 2 out of 5 polishes have obvious glitter bits.
OPI Suzi Sells Sushi By The Seashore. No complains here. I was too in love with the pearly pink. These pinks are absolutely perfect, I hope the formula turns out as lovely as it appears ♥♥♥ <-I have recently discovered how to make this symbol and I really love it haha. Please bear with me.
Color Club Warming Trend. This deep red is so royally lovely. Yeah, I think I just made up that phrase. It just looks so royal and elegant. It reminds me of OPI An Affair In Red Square but I think this one's a little deeper and darker.
Essie Using My Maiden Name. I was attracted to the lighter purple-ish shimmer in this one. I wasn't really able to capture it in the photo though. Maybe it'll turn out better in the swatches :)
Yay! I'm done. I really enjoyed doing this post! I love sharing new polish with you all. Do tell me in the comments if you have any of these shades and love/hate them or if you want to see a particular one swatched first!
Thanks for reading ♥

Polish Haul Saturday #15
Hey girls! It's polish haul time~ And it's still Saturday (as I'm typing this) so the title is still valid. I was surprised that I don't have more polish to show you all. I thought I bought more over the past few weeks but I must have overestimated myself haha. Or I might have forgotten what I bought..
First, I have 2 Sally Hansen polish.
Sally Hansen Royal Romance. This is a royal purple, I can see how it got its name!
Sally Hansen Lavender Marquis. A very subdued, light pink.
I got these two shades at a sale. It was a buy one, get one free. Normally I do not buy Sally Hansen polish since they're even more pricey than OPI but I couldn't resist nail polish sales.
Next up, I have Nubar polishes. I have not tried this brand before but it was reasonably priced and I'm always willing to try new nail polish brands :)
Nubar Calla Lily Caramel. I couldn't resist this polish, the shimmer was super pretty. I'm not really able to capture the shimmer in the photo but it's a pink shimmer.
Nubar Rockin' the Garden. This one also had a slight shimmer. Hopefully, the swatches will be more obvious when I get them done!
And, lastly, my first Color Club! Haha, this is a Polish Haul of firsts. The place where I normally get my nail polish from started selling both Nubar and Color Club so since it's so much more accessible than it has ever been, I decided to try them. Can't wait to earn some bucks so I can go back and purchase more!
Color Club Antiquated. This looked like a rather unique metallic shade that I didn't own so I decided to get it.
Okay, I've come to the end of my Polish Haul. I hope you enjoyed this post :)

Polish Haul Saturday #14
Polish Haul time!!!!! I love sharing my new polish of the week :) I hope you guys enjoy reading about them too. I think I buy way more polish than I can use though in a week though. Like nowadays, I only paint my fingernails once or twice a week! They're currently bare while I pick a colour for next week! Today, I have two Face Shop polishes to share! :)
They are Face Shop Face It Wide Nails GR503 and Face Shop Face It BL601
A close-up of the glitter. It's sort of a mix of blue, purple and green bar glitter in a transparent polish. IT'S SO PRETTY!!
I'm obsessed with glitter but I'm always too lazy to wear them because the removal process is tedious. I'm a fan of the glue base coat method but I don't like how it chips/peels off really fast! Like before I'm ready to remove it. So I rarely use that.
Anyway, thanks for reading! :)

Polish Haul Saturday #13
Yay!! I'm gonna be able to finish this post up while it's still Saturday here. It seems like such a challenge to get posts up on time nowadays. Maybe I should start doing a couple at one shot when I'm free and then schedule them for certain dates? But it's hard to find a long period of free time where I can be on the computer. I've got so much research to do lately! And it's only coming to the third week of school yikes! At least I do find some interest in what I'm studying so that's a good thing :) Okay, on to my new polish!
No, group photo today because... the photo was ugly and I didn't realise till I started this post.
First up, Ciate Twinset and Pearls. My first Ciate polish yay! Isn't she pretty? The polish isn't really white, it's more of a sheer.. I'm not even sure what colour it is. It's quite transparent but there's a purple-ish shimmer inside!
Butter London Poole. I have a new love for Butter London polish! They're a little pricey here in Singapore. Slightly more than double of what I can get an OPI for :/ But the colours are so pretty that I can't resist haha!
Butter London Fruit Machine. A pretty pastel pink! Not sure how this would look with my skin tone though.
Butter London Thames. I LOVE THIS ONE. It's so unique in my collection! And the green is so beautiful!

Polish Haul Saturday #12
Hello! Yes, I acknowledge that this post is late. I'm sorry. My time management is horrible. Like I always think I don't need so much time for some things then suddenly, I have no time for other things! Sigh. :( In my defence, University starts tomorrow so I was busy getting those last-minute admin stuff done! I'm actually excited for school. Haha, is that crazy? Some of my friends think I am. Anyway, on to my new nail polish!!! I'm particularly excited for this one because I got a gift, or two from my friend and it's BUTTER LONDON!!!! I've never owned a Butter London polish in my life so you can imagine how excited I was when my friend suddenly gave them to me as a birthday gift. I was still telling her oh it's okay you don't have t get me anything when she was taking it out. And then I saw it. I was like 'GIMMEEEE' in my head of course hahaha. I was so happy! And I found out that Sephora in Singapore has started selling them. I'm so gonna head over there the next time I'm free or happen to be in a mall with a Sephora in it.
So my friend got me Butter London Slapper and Butter London Queen Vic. Both really gorgeous colours! I've already worn Queen Vic on my fingers and have her(?) on my toes now haha.
Close-up shots to show the polish bottle itself!! EXCITED~
Butter London Slapper.
Butter London Queen Vic.
And I also got myself some polish. These are Catrice Karl Says Tres Chic and Catrice Mint Me Up. Both colours are really pretty. Couldn't resist not buying either one of them!
Close-ups!
Catrice Karl Says Tres Chic. I think this is the only kind of 'nude' shade I can pull off.. I haven't found a proper nude that looks good on my tan skin unfortunately.
Catrice Mint Me Up. This one is really pretty! Can you see the little bronze-ish flakes inside?
Any particular polish you wanna see swatched first? Or else I'm just gonna do the Butter London first because it's BUTTER LONDON AHHHHHHHH.
Haha, thanks for reading! :)

Polish Haul Saturday #11
Hey ladies! This specific Polish Haul Saturday post was probably due two weeks ago but due to unforeseen circumstances, it's only being posted now. Well, I think better late than never! Let's get started.
Okay, I scraped this week's photo of all the bottles together because the lighting and colour accuracy was all bad. So I'm just going to go through the close-ups!
First up is Essence Quick Dry Topcoat. I figured I was overly dependent on my Seche Vite and ought to try other brands and I've heard good things about Essence.
Next, I have Essence Black Is Back.
And I finally own a decent base coat! Essence Studio Nails 24/7 Nail Base. FYI, I haven't been using much base coat when I paint my nails. My nails are naturally thin so I don't feel like they've really been affected by the lack of regular use of base coat.
Last but not least, Nicole by OPI Honey Dew You Love Me. I can never resist a pretty glitter!! Can't wait to try this on out!
And that's all I have for today! Thanks for stopping by :)

Polish Haul Saturday #10
Hey ladies! It's Polish Haul Saturday #10!!!! I never thought I would ever reach this number haha. It's like a mini milestone, marks how much polish I have bought since I started this blog. Which reminds me, I've always wanted to make a list of all the polish I own, to keep track so that I can stop buying similar-looking colours. I'm always attracted to a certain shade of pink. Any recommended methods to catalogue my nail polish? I heard some bloggers use Microsoft Excel. I came across a blogger that used her phone contacts list to catalogue the polish along with a photo so that she could easily search up a polish in her collection with her phone. I thought that method was brilliant. And, I found the link!
Check it out here: http://workplaypolish.com/2012/06/21/tracking-your-polish-stash-with-a-gmail-contacts-list/
Okay, on to my new polishes of the week!
From left to right we have Orly Pretty-Ugly, Essie Naughty Nautical, Essie The More The Merrier, Essie Sunday Funday and Orly Ridiculously Regal. The photo is overly exposed, I'm sorry. I took it this way and I forgot to play around with the lighting and colour settings. Check out the close-up bottle shots for more colour accurate photos.
I found that I could only avoid those glaring, over-exposed if I held the bottles up near my lamp. So that's what I ended up doing.
Orly Pretty-Ugly. A gorgeous blue with some lovely shimmer although formula is a little sheer. I tested it out on my toes. Couldn't resist :P
Essie Naughty Nautical. Can't wait to try this teal shade.
Essie The More The Merrier. My first lime green polish! I'M SO EXCITED!!!
Essie Sunday Funday. I can never resist these coral, reddish shades!
Orly Ridiculously Regal. This is from the Orly Flash Glam FX Fall 2012 collection. Such a pretty glitter. I can already imagine it looking gorgeous over black or white polish!
Thanks for stopping by! :) Tell me in the comments which polish you want to see swatched first!

Polish Haul Saturday #9
Hey all! I'm back and rested after my holiday just in time to prepare a Polish Haul Saturday post for you all! :) I dropped by Sasa today and decided to grab a couple of stuff that I needed.. or wanted. I'll let you guys be the judge whether the stuff's actually necessary or not.
From left to right, I got nail stickers, make-up sponges, China Glaze Flying Dragon (Neon) and a nail polish thinner.
No close-up photos of the make-up sponges because I figured they're pretty common? I'm planning to attempt gradient nails finally so wish me all the best! :)
Nail stickers! No idea what brand this is, but I didn't want to spend too much on nail stickers when I wasn't even sure if I would like them or know how to use them. These would be perfect for accent nails that I'm really into recently.
China Glaze Flying Dragon (Neon) - I don't normally get nail polishes from Sasa because they sell it at a slightly higher price but I've never seen this shade in my life. And it is GOR-GEOUS. Seriously. Look at the pretty blue glitter inside! I have a feeling this is going to be a very well-loved colour in my collection.
And last but definitely not the least, nail polish thinner. I realise my Orly and Catrice polishes like to thicken, maybe because I tend leave them uncovered the whole time that I'm doing my nails.. I hope this does the trick though!
Well, I've shared with you all everything that I bought the past week. I thought all the stuff I got were necessary. Maybe I could have done without the nail stickers but I've been meaning to try them out and they were quite cheap so I thought 'why not?'
Thanks for reading! :)

Polish Haul Saturday #8
Hello ladies! It feels like forever since I've done a Polish Haul Saturday. I've actually been trying to control my spending because.. well, because I love shopping and eating too much in general and I was close to broke. Still am actually haha. Anyway, these nail polish were all unplanned buys. Since I have been trying to avoid buying new polishes recently, I've actually stayed away from my normal nail polish shops to resist temptation. However, due to unforeseen circumstances, I happened to end up with new polishes -_- Not that I'm complaining because I get to do one of these posts haha!
The first two were bought because I was shopping for a friend and I happened to see the OPI polish Lunch At The Delhi and it just looked so pretty and I could actually picture it on my fingernails so I had to get it. Same for the OPI Matte Top Coat. I really couldn't resist :X
The Catrice is called Denim Moore. So what happened here was that the new mall Jem opened and I went down to see it yesterday. And the beauty store in the basement sold Catrice polishes. It's actually really rare to see Catrice in Singapore so I figured I could afford to treat myself LOL. I later also saw another beauty store in the basement that sold Nicole by OPI. But, I managed to resist buying any yesterday. I'll probably end up shopping there another day though haha.
Anyway, on to the bottle shots!
From left to right, OPI Matte Top Coat, OPI Lunch At The Delhi and Catrice Denim Moore.
Close-up shots so the colour's clearer :)
The Catrice polish in the bottle actually looks more shimmery but I couldn't capture that. Hopefully it will show up on my nails when I swatch it.
Haha, look at the OPI Matte Top Coat photo. Can you tell what polish that is? It's Lunch At The Delhi hehe. I really couldn't resist wearing it. It's so pretty! I think I'm a pink and red nails fan! Will get a post up soon on that polish :)
Thanks for stopping by!
