Hey all! I'm back and rested after my holiday just in time to prepare a Polish Haul Saturday post for you all! :) I dropped by Sasa today and decided to grab a couple of stuff that I needed.. or wanted. I'll let you guys be the judge whether the stuff's actually necessary or not.
From left to right, I got nail stickers, make-up sponges, China Glaze Flying Dragon (Neon) and a nail polish thinner.
No close-up photos of the make-up sponges because I figured they're pretty common? I'm planning to attempt gradient nails finally so wish me all the best! :)
Nail stickers! No idea what brand this is, but I didn't want to spend too much on nail stickers when I wasn't even sure if I would like them or know how to use them. These would be perfect for accent nails that I'm really into recently.
China Glaze Flying Dragon (Neon) - I don't normally get nail polishes from Sasa because they sell it at a slightly higher price but I've never seen this shade in my life. And it is GOR-GEOUS. Seriously. Look at the pretty blue glitter inside! I have a feeling this is going to be a very well-loved colour in my collection.
And last but definitely not the least, nail polish thinner. I realise my Orly and Catrice polishes like to thicken, maybe because I tend leave them uncovered the whole time that I'm doing my nails.. I hope this does the trick though!
Well, I've shared with you all everything that I bought the past week. I thought all the stuff I got were necessary. Maybe I could have done without the nail stickers but I've been meaning to try them out and they were quite cheap so I thought 'why not?'
Thanks for reading! :)

Essie My Better Half Swatch
Hey! Quick post of a swatch that is actually a week old oops :P I'm off to Sentosa for a mini holiday with the family tomorrow so hopefully when I'm back, I'll be recharged and can get back to posting a bit more regularly. Thanks for putting up with me though! :)
Today, I have Essie My Better Half. I love this colour! It's so feminine, I love these kind of shades.

Polish Haul Saturday #8
Hello ladies! It feels like forever since I've done a Polish Haul Saturday. I've actually been trying to control my spending because.. well, because I love shopping and eating too much in general and I was close to broke. Still am actually haha. Anyway, these nail polish were all unplanned buys. Since I have been trying to avoid buying new polishes recently, I've actually stayed away from my normal nail polish shops to resist temptation. However, due to unforeseen circumstances, I happened to end up with new polishes -_- Not that I'm complaining because I get to do one of these posts haha!
The first two were bought because I was shopping for a friend and I happened to see the OPI polish Lunch At The Delhi and it just looked so pretty and I could actually picture it on my fingernails so I had to get it. Same for the OPI Matte Top Coat. I really couldn't resist :X
The Catrice is called Denim Moore. So what happened here was that the new mall Jem opened and I went down to see it yesterday. And the beauty store in the basement sold Catrice polishes. It's actually really rare to see Catrice in Singapore so I figured I could afford to treat myself LOL. I later also saw another beauty store in the basement that sold Nicole by OPI. But, I managed to resist buying any yesterday. I'll probably end up shopping there another day though haha.
Anyway, on to the bottle shots!
From left to right, OPI Matte Top Coat, OPI Lunch At The Delhi and Catrice Denim Moore.
Close-up shots so the colour's clearer :)
The Catrice polish in the bottle actually looks more shimmery but I couldn't capture that. Hopefully it will show up on my nails when I swatch it.
Haha, look at the OPI Matte Top Coat photo. Can you tell what polish that is? It's Lunch At The Delhi hehe. I really couldn't resist wearing it. It's so pretty! I think I'm a pink and red nails fan! Will get a post up soon on that polish :)
Thanks for stopping by!

Orly Saran Wrap Style
Hey ladies! I have a gorgeous polish to show you today. This one was done sometime last week. The lovely polish is Orly Boho Bonnet. Boho Bonnet is a lovely pastel blue creme that is a little sheer but looks fine after about 3 coats. I topped that with a coat of Seche Vite top coat. Unfortunately, as you can see on my middle finger, there was a little top coat shrinkage. I wasn't largely bothered by it though since I didn't actually wear it for more than 2 days.
I decided to use one of my newer polish to update my day old mani. I used Orly High On Hope and saran wrapped it. The final result reminded me of those bleached denim. But I like how it looks :)
What do you guys think? I think blue is starting to look like my favourite nail polish shade as well as my go-to colour when I'm out of ideas.

Oh My Copper
Today, I have Catrice Oh My Goldness to show you. I found this colour slightly more copper than gold but I guess in sunlight it kinda looks gold so the name's legit haha. I really liked how classy this colour looked and I think it suited my skin tone. However, I proceeded to ruin it by adding crackle polish to it later. I thought it would be a nice touch to it but.. no, I didn't end up liking it.
I took an impromptu photo in direct sunlight to show the shimmer and that it can actually look gold.
On to the artificial lighting photos, which are prettier hehe.
And then I added black crackle.
I guess it looks kinda interesting in a scaly, animal-like way. But I didn't like how it seems to dull the shiny copper colour below.
What are your thoughts? Do you still use crackle polish?

Polish Haul Saturday #8
Hey ladies! It's my favourite time of the week again! I think I'm addicted to buying nail polish! I just can't control myself when I see all the pretty colours and new collections. This week I managed to limit myself to two bottles, but as you will see later, they're from the quite-recently-released collections. I'm a sucker for new collections haha!
*Note: Do excuse my blurry photos. My camera was somehow unable to focus on the bottle.
On the left, we have Orly Spring 2013 Hope & Freedom Fest Collection's High on Hope and Essie 2013 Wedding Collection's My Better Half.
Close-up bottle photos which are unfortunately a little blurry.

What do you think of these colours? Would you have picked these from those collections?
