Polish Haul Saturday #1

It's official! I've decided to have weekly Saturday posts of my polish haul for the week! Since I usually go down on Thursday or Friday, Saturday would be the best day to consolidate all the polish and other random nail stuff that I got for that week. And right now I'm also working so I can afford to treat myself a little at the end of every work week which in my case is Thursday or Friday hehe. So without further ado, let's begin Polish Haul Saturday #1!!

This week I got myself 3 bottles of polish and a set of dotting tools!! It was only $5 so since it's a set of 5, $1 for each!!

And now, for the solo shots ;)

My very first Zoya nail polish!!!!! The bottle is adorable omg. I was considering not getting this but it's so rare to see a Zoya polish around here in Singapore so... I caved. It's Zoya Gemma. I'm not sure if you can see the purple shimmer in the bottle. And because it's my first Zoya polish, I'm a bit apprehensive whether I made the right choice so I googled 'zoya gemma swatch'. And Scrangie from www.scrangie.com actually really loved this polish! Here's the post if you're curious: http://www.scrangie.com/2011/01/zoya-intimate-collection-spring-2011.html I feel as if I struck jackpot!!!! :)

Next up, we have China Glaze Towel Boy Toy. I usually go down for my nail polish shopping with a shopping list but this was such a beauty that I couldn't pass it up! Moreover, I don't even own this bright a blue so I had to get it!

Another photo. I was attempting to catch the shimmer but... I think I failed. Oh well. I have this on my toes now. I painted them as soon as I got home and removed my old polish. The formula was very sheer. Really very sheer. I used 3 coats on my toes which is saying a lot because usually you don't have to do a perfect job on your toes as nobody really takes a close look at them anyway and you can get away with 1 or 2. After 3 coats and a top coat, I realised I should have put another coat.. But the colour is really pretty and it dries quicky and matte too.

OPI Moonraker. Now this was definitely on my shopping list. Along with Goldeneye but my supplier said it was out of stock and one even said they weren't restocking. Noooooo :( I need a perfect gold polish :(

And last but definitely not the least, dotting tools!!!!! I actually own one dotting tool but... who can resist a set with dotting tools of different sizes? Imagine the possibilities!

Yay! So that's all for my Polish Haul Saturday #1. What do you think? Do you like this idea of a weekly post 'event? Any polishes here that you have, want or can't wait to see? :)

  1. Oooh what a great haul! I need to get some dotting tools for myself too. I saw your comment on my post about the Lime Crimes - they're available to ship internationally from Harlow & Co, go check it out! x

    1. Hey! Thanks, I checked them out. I was worried because we can't export from the US and Europe but Harlow & Co seems to be based in Canada so maybe there's hope for me :)

  3. Oh my goodness! Zoya is one of my favorite brands! I do not have Gemma, but I love every color I have purchased from them so far. That is so sad you cannot easily get it!

    1. It's gorgeous! You should get it! I'm in the process of reviewing it now. Oooh but I realised I can get them online :) Any Zoya favourites to recommend me? :)

    2. There are so many! I particularly like vibrant colors and I've noticed you tend to lean more towards pastels and feminine colors, so you may not like them as much as I do... But I really love Robyn, Daul, Stacy, Rica and Aurora. :) There are so many others that I love but those are the most recent that I can remember. I have swatched them all myself but don't have photos posted of Daul or Aurora yet.

    3. Haha, I actually like vibrant colours too but I haven't been wearing them much lately! Ooooh I checked out those polishes and I really, really like Robyn and Aurora! Robyn looks a little bit like one of the blues in the OPI Euro Centrale collection that I'm planning to get.
